Elijah Thomas, a highly-ranked big man in the Class of 2015, has included UNLV among a list of his final 10 college choices.
Thomas, a 6-foot-9 bruiser rated No. 9 nationally by Rivals, averaged 17.8 points and 11.8 rebounds last season for his Texas high school team.
On Wednesday, he told the Dallas Morning News that he has trimmed his list to Oklahoma State, USC, Florida, Texas, SMU, Memphis, Ohio State, Illinois, Oregon and UNLV.
This puts UNLV squarely in the running for three of the top bigs in the Class of 2015. In addition to Thomas, the Rebels are also recruiting Bishop Gorman stars Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter. Zimmerman is ranked No. 4 in the nation by Rivals, while Jeter checks in at No. 17.
